Comisarul sef se afla in comuna Selaru, unde avea o casa de vacanta. <!--more-->  Primise un telefon de la un prieten care ramasese in pana pe un drum judetean si care ii ceruse ajutorul. N-a mai apucat insa sa ajunga acolo. La un moment dat, din motive inca neelucidate, a pierdut controlul volanului. A izbit o Dacie ce era parcata langa o poarta, iar apoi a intrat intr-o gramada de nisip aflata pe marginea drumului. Masina condusa de directorul de resurse umane s-a rostogolit de mai multe ori, iar omul legii n-a mai apucat sa se salveze. Martorii spun ca au auzit o bubuitura teribila, iar apoi s-a asternut o liniste de mormant.
