SAUR 1 este cel mai nou si modern prototip de transportor amfibiu blindat fabricat in Romania, la Moreni. Este singurul care raspunde normelor NATO de testare pentru astfel de blindate.<\/p>\n<p> <!--more-->   SAUR 1 a fost supus testului de flotabilitate. Ca sa treaca acest test, TAB-ul trebuia sa depaseasca o viteza pe apa de 9 km. SAUR 1 a &#8222;prins&#8221; 13 km pe ora.  Cei care l-au testat spun ca, fara niciun dubiu, SAUR este cel mai performant transportor amfibiu blindat fabricat pana acum la noi. Transportorul 8&#215;8 are capacitatea de a duce in misiune 11 militari.
